FUNDAY SUN 31ST MAY 2009
What a Fantastic Day this turned out to be, the weather was glorious and everyone was out to enjoy themselves and from the feed back of home and visiting teams, certainly did so.
A very big thank to you to all the visiting teams, those who have been before and new visitng teams this Funday, as without you and our home teams, the tournament would not be possible and we hope to see you all again next year.
Thank you to all the sponsors who placed ad's in our programme, especially during this difficult economic climate, for which we are extremely grateful and to those who donated gifts/tickets/vouchers etc. as prizes.
Lastly a massive thank you to all the people who have given up their time in the preparation in organising this day and helping at the Funday - it makes you realise what a fantastic club CONEY HALL FC is. |

MINI SOCCER ACADEMY - SUMMER 2009 |

On Saturday 13th June the Coney Hall Mini Soccer Academy will transfer to Sparrows Den in Corkscrew Hill, West Wickham.
The committee have had to shut the grounds at Tiepigs Lane due to extensive seeding and groundworks required during the close season. This will include seeding to the senior pitch and two mini soccer pitches and maintenance to the surrounding areas and clubhouse. During the summer the portakabin will also be prepared for when the mini soccer returns to create the 'Mini Soccer Cabin'
We have to consider the safety of the children and consider the seed and growth material that has been used. Furthermore the clubhouse will be shut so toilets will not be open.
At Sparrows Den there are toilets and a cafe, and Ben will continue with the coaching. Barry will attend as the co-ordinator and assist Gayle Bashford who will become our new Co-ordinator from the end of August 2009.
We are sorry we have had to move the children from their home but we have had to consider their safety and other teams who will play in league competitions from August 15th.
