There comes a point where one has to stop scratching ones head and wondering how the collective talent in our squad has failed to deliver on its potential. From pre-season when we outplayed clubs with large wage bills and big reputations, to being lucky in escaping with a 4 - 0 stuffing at the hands of a team struggling at the bottom of Div1, is a spectacular fall.

APM even missed a pen in the 1st half, along with half a dozen chances that a good team would have converted, it should have been eight and 0 - 4 flattered us hugely. There were no positives to be taken from the game and mention of individual mistakes or instances of bad luck would only serve to mask just how bad we were. APM turned up, ran hard and tackled - and that was enough to see us off.
